My Crone ladies were born out of deep
seated searing pain.......born out of the need to express
the depths of my despair. And I know there are
other's in my situation or perhaps worse.
So these ladies were created as a testament to the Mom's,
Grandmother's, Auntie's, Sisters and Friends. For the
wise women, the warriors and wisdom keepers.
In a span of 18 months my 7 yr old grand-daughter had three massive
strokes and was diagnosed with moyamoya. She lost her eyesight,
ability to speak, cognitive abilities and lives her life paralyzed in
a wheelchair.
Next came my best friend of over 30 years, diagnosed with
stage 4 breast cancer.
Both of my parents, in their 80's are in and out of the hospital more
than they are at home........
Feeling as if I was just going to collapse from the emotional
stress of life happening all around me, I decided to take early
social security. I work from home plus receive SSA.........
and then, my adult son and only child was diagnosed with
Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. His condition
deteriorated so quickly that he had to come home so that I can
assist with his care.
So there it is........the Crone Ladies were born.
