Welcome to Artsy Whims!
The primary focus of this site will be about my adventures in crafting, although I will also share many creative whims!

.........and whims they are- bursts of creativity -that need to be expressed.

Homemade, handmade and crafting were embedded in my genes from early childhood as I worked hand in hand with my Gram, a seamstress from Ireland.  I can still recall the thrill of creating "something" from nothing as we set forth on our next sewing project.  Afternoons would find us glued to the soap's while Gram went about knitting - a talent I never acquired, although I did go on to crochet.  My hands have never been idle these many years.
