Using Paper to Make Paper - huh?

Several months ago I was watching the video series from The Cottage Fairy.......I just love

her shows!  In one of the videos she was making paper and I remembered I had the entire

kit to make paper and so I gave it a try!

Well, I did make the paper and added wildflower seeds for "seed paper".  But while I was going

through the process of making paper (and what a mess!), I kept thinking

why am I using paper to make paper!

I made several batches of paper adding herbs for color.  Even though I

had screens from my kit, they were too large.  I happened to catch another

paper making video and they taught you how to make your own screens, which was

really helpful.

Tip:  You can buy these large flat strainers at Dollar Tree, remove the

screen material and staple it to a small wood picture frame - and there

you go, you have your own custom size.

I'm not too sure what to do with all the seed paper I made!  I did scatter

the extra seeded pulp around my yard hoping I would have some

wildflowers popping up..........not happening!  So does that mean the

seeded paper doesn't actually produce flowers?

Well, this craft project is just not for me!
