How to handle a horrendous situation (COVID-19), while we all remain somewhat
quarantined in our homes -well to me that's a time out for crafting!
.........and I'm seriously not trying to make light of the suffering that has
hit our country. Crafting is my happy place, my keep me calm space and
I believe this is what's needed now, so cool heads prevail.
Last night I spoke to a friend who lives in New York, the hardest hit
State at the moment. Although she's blind, she has continued to
live an active life. Her normal schedule is to teach at the Helen Keller
Institute in Manhattan several days a week, go to a local gym, visit
with family and friends - live life. She called last night saying "what am
I going to do, I'm locked up in the house".
I've been working remotely for several years so I guess I'm use to
being at home and I can just imagine the frustration for those
who typically go out to a 9-5 job. It's definitely a
transition!
Well I say it's hobby time, family time, clean out the
closets time, play games.........or craft!
