So I got caught up in the black Friday/cyber Monday sales on Etsy. There were some really good
buys at 20-30% off.
But I've been so disappointed in the products I received so far, I'm still waiting on the
delivery of 2 more products that are just floating around in the post office for 10 days!
So, Item #1, was a ring I purchased from the shop that made a million dollars in sales........
the ring is beautiful, the packaging is equally nice, the shipping was right on time. BUT, the
stone setting on the ring is too heavy for the whisper band and this stone just flops around, it will
never sit properly on my finger or anyone's finger and as of now I can't wear it because it's too annoying!
Item #2, was a plain copper wrap ring and I'm very happy with it! Packaging was nice, shipping was great. No issues at all.
Item #3, is an open adjustable ring, that in the pictures it looked like it could be worn on any finger. I wear a size 6.5, kind of average and there's no way I could wear this ring. On my pinkie it's ok, but
I really think it was made to be a toe ring, which is not what I ordered.
So who vets products on etsy? Are they vetted at all? I was pretty shocked at item #1, it was clear
that they should be using a thicker band to support the large stone - they should know that, not me.
Oh well, live and learn.
