A few months ago I purchased this Brother Design 'n Cut for $99.........cricut wannabe!
I suppose for the purchase price of just $99 I did get a great deal!
Although I will say the add-ons are killing me! The pen tool,
the deeper knife tool, the embossing tools............and omg,
"the mats", are you kidding me? I've gone through 3 mats
in just months. Someone has got to come up with a better system!
I did meet a couple of ladies in the local craft store where we had a
discussion about the mats and they suggested dropping the paper
and design further down the page and on the mat. This works
for some things but not when you're using the full 12 x 12
paper.
So I played around with making cards...........and ended up
just buying a card! It was just too much paper, too much glue,
too much of a mess! Even though the card designs are
intricate and pretty, layer on layer and cutouts and 10 colors
is way overkill!
Checkout: 3dsvg.com lots of free or inexpensive files!
So this is the only finished product I've produced in all
these months! And I so cheated! Instead of fussing with
non-sticky mats, I cut the pouches out by hand! But I did
make the the labels with the Design n' Cut!
I guess as a tool this machine is a handy device to have around!
